According to the earlier liturgical order the Marian Antiphon Salve Regina was sung from sunday of the Holy Trinity until the feast of Christ the king. This antiphon seems to be often set to music due to its popularity. The text contains complimentary closes to Mary, emphasizes culpability of mankind and hopes for Mary as an advocate.
