According to the earlier liturgical order the Marian Antiphon Regina Coeli was sung in Easter time. This antiphon seems to be the youngest Marian antiphon since it is attested only at about 1200 for the first time. The short and concise text praises Mary, Mother of God, whose son rose from the dead.
