In 1731, the Muri Mass was dedicated to Gerold Heimb, princebishop of the Benedictine convent of Muri, by Rathgeber. Not long ago Thilo Hirsch discovered a manuscript with this mass in the music library of Einsiedeln. The handwritten mass is nearly identical with the printed version in Opus 12. The actual edition contains the different parts of the manuscript in the supplement.
